Posada with Dave Brubeck

Each year I have done a Posada since 1998 with Mary and Joseph and a donkey. In recent years I have organized a posada on Manhattan's Upper West Side that have included a Mariachi band. We will have that posada again this year on December 18th beginning at 3pm in Central Park at 83rd and CPW.

As Choate chaplain I offered to do a posada at Choate this year. We will do one on Dec 12th at 3:30PM also with donkey and Mariachi band. When I suggested this to Philip Ventre the head of music at Choate, he perked up and suggested Dave Brubeck's Posada. Yesterday in Phil's office we called Dave who lives nearby in Wilton, CT, and he answered the phone. He is 90 and in good shape. He is excited to help arrange the event which will involve multiple choirs and artwork.
