Luxury Tote and Weekend Bag: Goods of Conscience is making bags in our Guatemala workshop using Social Fabric for ZINK, the work of Ben Freedland, a luxury bag designer who seeks to build community into his work. Our first bag to join his line-up is an indigo-dyed signature tote featured on the luxury brand site VIVRE. A small quantity of sample bags are available on the our website only for $295.00 for the tote in black and verde and $325.00 for the weekend bag in crudo, verde and black. Retailing at $425.00 for the tote and 495.00 for the weekend bag.

Not for sale yet. Our honey was chosen in a blind test by Martha Stewart as best honey. It also came in second in a national contest. We are making a rye whiskey with it (all legal) called Indigo Rye.

In a small village near the regional capital of Solola on Lake Atitlan Francisco Tcoc can weave almost three yards of fabric by hand on a traditional floorloom in a twelve hour day. The suede-like nap of the fabric is like a cross between linen and chamois.
